Wasted Years created by Rafael Nascimento is a typeface based on a lost lettering over an almost lost album cover. Searching for a very intriguing stencil typeface on an Argentinian version of the great 1986 hit singles by metal kings Iron Maiden, I took another creative approach in designing it "by eye" based on the few characters available as reference. Eventually it became a full digital font. It all became a fun tribute to one of my early design/music references and also a revival, or better said, resurrection of a lost typeface.
