BRINKY by Maksym Kobuzan is a completely FREE display monospaced typeface inspired by the aesthetics of early 1980s console games.
BRINKY has 965 glyphs and 0 kerning pairs (because it's monospaced). The peculiarity of the graphics is that the letters displace the void as much as possible and fill the space around them.
Diacritics, as well as ascenders and descenders, do not go beyond the letter (except lowercase letters). This makes it possible to type text in blocks with minimal leading. Also, many characters have alternatives. This is especially true for letters with diacritics.
BRINKY knows Extended Latin, Extended Cyrillic and Greek. And it speaks many languages.
