I've been trying out Newsera recently, and I was genuinely impressed by how polished it feels. It has that classic serif elegance that immediately gives designs a more premium look, but it doesn't feel old-fashioned or overly formal.
What I like most is how versatile it is. It works just as well for headlines and branding as it does for editorial layouts. The letterforms have a lovely balance of character and readability, making text feel refined without drawing attention away from the content itself.
There’s a real sense of care in the details, from the proportions to the contrast throughout the typeface. It manages to feel both timeless and contemporary, which isn't something every serif can achieve.
Overall, Newsera is a fantastic addition to any designer's font library. It's elegant, reliable, and full of personality. Definitely a typeface I'll be coming back to for future projects.
