Tablón arises from the old sign of the Matienzo Club, from the Azcuénaga neighborhood of the city of Rosario, Argentina. The letters that inspired this project have work, sweat, color, contrast, structure, harmony but above all a lot of “potrero” and love!
This typeface was created by Cristian Tournier and includes 3 weight variables, Regular, Medium, Black, and a Rounded variable, it presents diacritical characters, punctuation and alternative signs in all its variables, important aspects of typographic design since it makes this family functional. modern and dynamic.
Tablón is a family of geometric style, working with a grid as a base, but with subtle optical adjustments, it results in a monolinear family, uppercase sans serif with multiple versions and many possibilities, which make it interesting for headlines, highlights for magazines, books, posters, promotional material, advertising, branding, or any text that needs a personality boost.
