Introducing Futura 1986, a version of Futura created by Rafael Nascimento. Reinterpreted and processed with a mix of 80s pop culture, punk rock and low-budget printed matter. My affective memory, before I even knew the name or relevance of this typography classic, is of stickers, photocopies and comics, where it appeared in large sizes and sometimes accidentally distorted.
Based on ephemera references and containing some easter eggs in the form of alternate characters, it also includes a bonus set of 65 dingbats/stickers.
