Designed in 1970 by Ronné Bonder and Tom Carnase, ITC Machine was one the first typefaces issued by the International Typeface Corporation, a true treasure of the phototypesetting era, as highlighted by ITC's own mastermind Herb Lubalin in his pioneering graphic work.

Its strong geometric objective letterforms became synonymous with BOLD statements across creative fields, from sports advertising to post-industrial corporate branding and even some ventures in music artwork.

Being one of the first typefaces converted to digital form, it inherited a few limitations in the technology turn in the late 1980s, as were most of the ITC catalog. Historical research shows various different approaches to its use in the form of alternate characters for titles and a lowercase set not present in its first release.

NEW MACHINE by Raphael Nascimento brings back the glory of the analog era, reviewing letterspacing and adding the extra characters inspired by the work of the great Lubalin and his peers. 5 new weights included for extra versatility.
Highly recommended for usage on alrge size displays, lettering and logo designs and all-around analog celebrations.
